Returns Policy

All returns following the guidelines listed on this page will be accepted for store credit only, no direct refunds will be issued. Store credit does not expire and can be used at anytime online or in-store. We don't do exchanges. You can use your store credit to place another order with a new product.


As a small brand, any order that is "fulfilled" and "processed" under our system, can't be canceled. We process orders at the time payment is captured. However, you are welcome to follow our return guidelines.

Return Guidelines
• All returns must be postmarked within fourteen (14) days of delivery to receive a store credit
• Merchandise must be unworn, unsoiled, and unwashed
• Sanitary strips, manufacturer tags, AKALIA hangtags and any other applicable accessories must be in-tact and untampered with
Merchandise soiled, mishandled, abused, laundered or missing tags is subject to refusal and will be returned at the customer’s expense. 

All clearance items and/or items bought during certain promotional sales, or any promo codes are FINAL SALE and are not redeemable for any type of return. HEADBANDS , SCRUNCHIES AND MASKS ARE NOT RETURNABLE.

You don't like the fit of your swimsuit or not completely happy?
No problem! Just follow the instructions below to return:

Domestic Order
1. Send us an email, we will send you a return form and a shipping label
2. Once you've completed your return form, pack items securely in your package of AKALIA SWIMWEAR is not responsible for any damages incurred during shipping.
3. Affix the the return shipping label to your package.
4. Drop your package off at a U.S. Postal Service mailbox or post office OR arrange for a free pickup.

1. Send us an email to to let us know you want to return your order. We will get back to you with a return form.
2. Pack items securely in your package of choice and include the filled out Return Form. Please note AKALIA SWIMWEAR is not responsible for any damages incurred during shipping.
3. Drop your package off at your local post office.

What happens next?
If your package arrives in due time, your return will be inspected and processed for store credit. You will be notified via email to the address used upon checking out with a store credit amount. 
Please allow 5-7 business days from the return arrival date to receive notification on your return status.

Shipping Costs
At this time, prepaid return labels are not available outside USA. Return shipping is not refunded in returns or store credit transactions.
Customs charges incurred for returns will be billed to the customer
Domestic and International return shipping is also not refunded, and paid for by the customer, not AKALIA SWIMWEAR.

Defective Items
AKALIA SWIMWEAR values 100% customer satisfaction. Defective items should be reported to customer service immediately (before returning package) to insure your refund or exchange is properly processed.
